LoadwavePrivacy Policy
Loadwave collects no data about you. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads. Your training log — sets, weights, reps, RPE values and estimated maxes — stays on your phone and never reaches us.
And you can check that yourself. Turn on airplane mode and keep using the app: logging, the 🟢🟡🔴 live light, the planner, the charts and the export all work exactly the same. Nothing waits on a network, because there is no server for the app to talk to.
On the App Store listing, the “App Privacy” section shows the declaration we filed with Apple (Data Not Collected); on Google Play, the Data safety section says the same.
One thing we should say plainly. On Android, the app's permission list includes
internet access (android.permission.INTERNET). We did not ask for it:
it comes with the Google Play Billing library that handles the Pro purchase. The
app's own code makes no network calls at all — the only outbound traffic is Play or
the App Store asking their own service whether you own Pro.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter — workouts, sets (weight, reps, RPE), lift variations, your estimated maxes and your settings — is stored solely on your phone, in the app's private directory that other apps cannot read. On Android in a local database, on iPhone in the system's settings store.
That data is yours to manage, not ours. We have no access to it: we cannot see it, cannot copy it, and for the reasons above could not even if we wanted to.
We never ask for your name, email address, date of birth, body weight or any health data. The app does not connect to Apple Health or Google Fit, and reads no data from any other app.
Exporting to a file
The app's built-in export writes a plain, unencrypted CSV file you can open in any spreadsheet. That is deliberate: your data should stay yours, in a form that does not require our app.
On Android the file goes to the shared Downloads/Loadwave folder, which survives uninstalling the app.
On iPhone the file goes to the app's Documents/Loadwave folder, reachable from the Files app and copyable anywhere. ⚠️ That folder is deleted when the app is removed — copy it out first if you want to keep it.
If you share the file or save it to a cloud service — iCloud Drive, Google Drive — that provider's terms apply to it from then on, which is outside this app's control.
Automatic backup (Android only)
On Android the app allows the system's Auto Backup feature so your training log is not lost when you move to a new phone. The data goes to your own Google account, encrypted by Google — not to us, and we can never access it.
This is a system service, not part of the app: you can switch it off at any time in your phone settings (Settings → Google → Backup), and the app's data will stop being backed up too.
Purchases (Loadwave Pro)
The app offers a single, one-time, non-renewing purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the store — Google Play on Android, the Apple App Store on iPhone — using the account you already have.
We never see or store your name, billing address, card details or email address. The app learns exactly one thing from the store, on your own phone: whether Pro is purchased or not. That yes/no stays on the device.
Payment-related data is governed by Google's and Apple's own privacy policies, not this document. They also issue the receipt.
The 30-day trial requires no card and charges nothing: the app simply notes the date of first launch on your phone.

On iPhone the app requests no permissions at all. It does not even ask for notification permission — Loadwave sends no notifications.
We never request access to contacts, calendar, location, camera, microphone, motion sensors, health data, your files or your advertising identifier.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social media library. There is no Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, AdMob or anything similar.
The only bundled third-party component is Google Play Billing (Android) and Apple StoreKit (iPhone), both solely for handling the purchase.
What is not up to us: the download itself is handled by the store, and they process certain data under their own terms — download counts, for example, or a crash report if you enabled that in your phone settings. We cannot access any of it per person: the stores show aggregate numbers, not who downloaded the app.
Your rights
Since we process and transmit no personal data, there is no data held by us for which you could request access, correction or deletion. All of your data is on your own device, under your sole control: you can edit, export or delete it inside the app, or by uninstalling it.
Children
The app is not designed for children, and collects no data from anyone — regardless of age.
Health disclaimer
Loadwave is a training log and decision-support tool. It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. The zones and suggestions it shows are informational calculations based on training-theory methodology (Prilepin's table, INOL). You remain responsible for your own training load and health; consult a doctor or a qualified coach if you have concerns.
Changes to this policy
If a future feature ever transmitted data — cloud sync, for example — we will update this document in advance, the change will appear in the app's release notes, and such a feature will only start with your explicit consent.
